Moving Forward in 2008!
Evening Courses at The Collective The
Collective will be offering a wide variety of its regular full time course offerings
in the evening beginning with the Fall 08 semester, which starts on September 8.

The Collective’s My Kids Music School division will be offering two new afterschool programs for
drums, bass, guitar, and keyboard.
The level 1 program is a beginners program for kids 7-10 years of age. This
program introduces students to basic music theory, instrumental technique, and performance skills.
The level 2
program is for intermediate to advanced level kids, ages 10-14. This program includes classes on instrumental technique, reading,

3-Week Intensive Program The 3-Week intensive gives the student the opportunity to
study a wide range of topics over a 3-week period of time. Topics include Reading, Instrumental Technique,
Jazz, Funk, Afro-Cuban, Rock, and Brazilian styles. The program also includes
a rhythm section class with professional musicians, and a private lesson. Each student is allocated two hours a day of practice
time. Program Dates:
